Officer Chris Magill

  • Principal: Crystal Collins
  • Number of students: approximately 1380 students in kindergarten through fifth grades
  • Cluster: Grace Snell Middle School and South Gwinnett High School
  • Mascot: Comets
  • Our school is named for James Christopher "Chris" Magill. Officer Magill worked for the Gwinnett County Police Department. He lost his life while on duty with the DUI Task Force.

In line with Magill's vision of teaching through hands-on, active, and engaging lessons we have begun a partnership with ArtsNOW. ArtsNOW simply takes Gwinnett County's Quality-plus Teaching Strategies and adds arts integration into the instruction.
