Kindergarten Registration

Summer registration will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 to 12:00.
Registration will begin on June 8 and end on July 22, 2010.

After July 22, our next registration date will be fall registration on August 5, 2010.

We will not move forward with your registration
without all required information.

ALL DOCUMENTATION MUST BE PRESENTED AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION IN ORDER FOR YOUR CHILD TO BE ENROLLED.

CHILDREN WITHOUT COMPLETE INFORMATION WILL HAVE TO REGISTER DURING SUMMER REGISTRATION.

Magill requires the following items for registration:

Proof of Residency: TWO ITEMS: One item from (1) and One to two items from (2)
- (1) We will accept a current signed residential lease, a HUD-1 closing statement or a non-contingent contract on your home. We will also accept a warranty deed, security deed, or quick claim deed as long as the owner’s name and a street address are evident on the same page. *If the legal description is all that is evident on the deed, two utility bills will be required.
  - AND -
- (2) a utility bill – gas, water, or electric. * Please note above situation may require two bills.
If the parent/guardian is living with someone else, a notarized Gwinnett County Residency Affidavit is required and must be completed and notarized before we will begin registration. This form may be picked up in the office or downloaded from the school website. There are specific instructions attached to the document and items 1 (one) and 2 (two) above must still be met.
Certified Birth Certificate: Please bring the original certificate. A copy will be made for the school file. The certificate should include the names of the birth parents. Please do not bring short form certificates that do not list parents.
Georgia 3231 Immunization Certificate: Must be dated on or after 2/21/07: Out of state immunization forms must be transferred to the Georgia form. This form may be obtained from your pediatrician’s office or a local Health Department. The closest facility to our school is the Walton County Health Department, located at 605 Tom Brewer Road. The phone number is 770-466-1789. Please contact them for appointments and hours.
Georgia 3300 Hearing, Vision, and Dental Form: If you have an out of state version that is current within the past twelve months, your pediatrician or a health department can transfer the information to a Georgia form for you as per state law. This form is required before we will register your child. The closest facility to our school is the Walton County Health Department, located at 605 Tom Brewer Road. The phone number is 770-466-1789. Social Security Card: If you do not have the card, you may sign a waiver at the school.
A photo ID: Birth parent or guardian registering the child must show picture ID.
Proof of Guardianship: If the registering adult is not a parent on the birth certificate, we must have court confirmed proof of legal custody or guardianship.
Marriage certificate: Will be necessary to reconcile parents on birth certificates and homes owned by step parents if residency paperwork and birth certificates do not match.
