QUALITY EDUCATION FOR YOUR CHILD
Welcome to J.C. Magill Elementary! I am thrilled to be joining this community as the new principal. This is going to be a successful school year for your children. I look forward to working with our staff to ensure all students continue to learn at their highest level every single day.
As we begin the 2017-2018 school year, we are committed to providing high-quality, rigorous, and engaging lessons that will allow all students to reach their fullest potential. Literacy will remain central in all we do because research tells us that in order for our children to succeed, they must be able to read a complex text independently and with confidence. Your children are our future! We must prepare them!
In addition to the great things happening here at school, we need your help at home as well. Please continue to be a partner with Magill in your child’s education. We offer an amazing Parent Center staffed with a full-time Parent Instructional Support Coordinator. I encourage you to utilize this great resource for checking out materials to use at home with your children or to simply get important information about our school.
Again, I am honored to be the principal at Magill Elementary. The staff and I look forward to working with you and your child this school year. If you have any questions or concerns throughout the school year, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Student Parent Information
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
Student transportation changes can only be made in writing and can only be requested by a parent. For safety reasons, we do not accept emails or faxes for transportation changes. We ask that transportation changes be kept to a minimum as it disrupts your child’s normal routine and may lead to confusion. If you must request a transportation change for your child, please send in a note that is dated and signed and includes all pertinent information, including a daytime phone number where you can be reached in the event we need additional information.
